Reunion CD
Adam Bridge will be acting as photo editor and compiling
submitted photographs for sharing
with the members of Parche Association.
There are several ways to submit your images:
Electronic
e-mail your images to: abridge@mac.com or abridge@gmail.com
Your image should be at least 900 pixels in the largest dimension.
Larger
images are better than smaller ones. I have oodles of disks space
so if
you can stand to upload the image I can certainly deal with downloading.
I recommend that you send one image per e-mail mail and include in
the body
of the e-mail text a comment about who is in the image (if you know.)
Mail
send your negatives (best) or prints to:
Adam Bridge
869 A Street
Davis, CA 95616-1916
I'll scan in your photos and return them to you. Be sure to include
your name and address
so I can return them! If you're feeling generous you can include a
stamped
self-addressed mailing envelope although that isn't necessary. I'll
try to
turn around your photos in a matter of days. Include an e-mail address
and
I'll e-mail you when they arrive and when I have returned them to
you!
What kind of images should I send?
Well, the best photos to send are ones that mean something to you.
If you have
something that captures who a person is the best then be sure to send
it. If you
have an image that you think someone else will value then include
it. If
something is really cute then send it.
If you shot digital images send the full sized jpeg files. If you
actually shot
in RAW mode then send that, I probably can handle it.
What if I don't know who is in the photo?
Hey, I do that all the time. Don't worry - send it anyway. Someone
in the group
will recognize the people.
When I'm done....
When I'm done assembling the images I'll create a CD and a web site
that will
have the images for people to view. The web site will probably have
"smaller"
images than the CD will. You'll be able to view the CD with a web
browser and
hopefully search it. We'll let GOOGLE handle searching for people
in the images.
So, there you have it! Get those photos processed, scanned, etc and
send them
in!
