2010 USSVI-SVWW2 National Convention

The 2010 United States Submarine Veterans National Convention was a joint venture between the USSVI and Submarine Veterans of World War II organizations. In this spirit of jointness, the "Parche I" (SS 384) extended an invitation to "Parche II" (SSN 683)  sailors via the Parche Association to join them at Fort Mitchell, Kentucky for this event. Steering Committee Chairman Bob Lewis represented the Parche Association at this get together and participated in the first ever joint memorial service in which the departed crewmembers from both boats were remembered.
